Plain-language Bitcoin tools

Bitcoin, explained one clear idea at a time.

Corrowen is an independent workshop for people who want to understand Bitcoin before they form an opinion about it. We write patient field guides, answer hard questions in ordinary words, and build small browser tools that make abstract ideas easier to see.

How we work

Explain before we persuade
Every guide starts with what a term means, how the system works, and where it can fail. We would rather you finish a page knowing less but understanding more.
Name the trade-offs
Bitcoin asks things of the people who use it. Self-custody puts recovery in your hands, the public ledger is permanent, and fees rise and fall with demand. We describe those costs as they are, not as footnotes.
No predictions, no pressure
We do not forecast prices, recommend purchases, or rank exchanges and wallets. When a decision involves your own money, we point you to a licensed professional who knows your situation.

Seed Bloom studio

Type a word or short phrase and the studio grows a bloom from it. The same seed always grows the same first bloom. That is the point of the exercise: one input, one repeatable shape, which is how many digital systems use a seed to produce predictable results.

This is a picture, not a wallet. Do not type a real recovery phrase into this studio or any other tool. Use a word that means something to you, such as a place or a season, and keep your actual recovery phrase offline.

A sample bloom grown from the seed "first light". The live studio below grows a bloom from any seed you type.
